Divide and Conquer-Compartmented Bag Class -- Longmont

In this class, you will create your own custom compartmented bag! The pattern comes in two sizes with adjustable handles and full-width exterior pockets. Optional strap on the back slips over handles on rolling luggage. Bags open like suitcases to reveal handy see-through zippered compartments on each side. Attached pocket pages on the inside store and organize a multitude of smaller items.

VFW Cascade Quilt During this 5-hour intermediate-level class, learn to use the Cascade template to design your own Cascade wonder. We will review color and value options for your creation and begin to arrange fabrics to create a gradational effect of arches and curves. Bring your sewing machine! We will practice sewing the arches together. Required Supplies: Modern Quilt Magic book by Victoria Findlay Wolfe (VFW) VFW Cascade template Please review the Materials chart on page 113, to determine yardage (light, medium and dark fabrics, in small, medium and large prints and solids) you will need according to the size quilt you want to make. Batting cut to the size quilt you are making plus 3?all around. Neutral thread Red Ruby Beholder Value Finder (if using red fabrics, may need a green value finder) Standard quilting supplies: pins, sharp rotary cutter, scissors, seam ripper, etc?
