Put aside your paintbrush and pick up your scissors to create your own unique art quilt! In the Collage Class, you will learn the fabric art collage technique as well as how to select fabrics and colors for the right effect! Choose one of the Fiberworks patterns, which are available for purchase at Maggie's. The first day of the class is Saturday, July 11th from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, the second class will be on Sunday, July 13th from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM. This is a two-day class, please plan on attending both sessions. Prepare to have the most fun you've ever had with fabric!

Join us for this class at Maggie's and learn how to use the 120 Degree Triangle Ruler to make a stunning tree-skirt that will be a treasured family heirloom for years to come! This ruler is an efficient and fun way to make stunning quilts of all sizes. Don't be fooled by this pattern-- it looks like there are inset seams, but there really aren't! In order to meet social distancing requirements, this class is limited to Four members so each person has their own station in each corner of the classroom. All sewists are required to bring all of their own notions and tools.

Another fabulous pattern by Annie! The perfect travel companion, this functional bag includes a comfortable padded adjustable carrying strap and quick-grab side handles, as well as a handy strap across the back to help secure the bag to rolling luggage. With a zippered and slip pockets on the front, back, and ends as well as a full zippered pocket and three more slip pockets inside, the bag will keep everything organized and close at hand. Buttons on the bottom reduce wear.

Join Margaret and learn how to make an easy, lined, zippered bag! Great for cosmetics, gifts, sewing supplies, electronic storage, and whatever else your little heart desires. This is a fabulous beginner class. Learn how to easily install a zipper, and customize your own creation.

In this class, Mary Ellen will instruct you on how to make Nesting Clam Shell zippered Bags--beware, making these bags is addictive! Zippered pouches in five sizes are perfect for storing and carrying makeup, sewing supplies, tech gear, and more. You may quilt the fabric or leave it unquilted and add optional iron-on vinyl laminate for a wipe-clean interior. Double slide zippers and handy grab tabs make the bags easy to open wide; attached side panels prevent contents from falling out. An optional strap with swivel hook may be added. When empty, the bags nest to save space and be cute!

This is a class designed to familiarize students with the basics of free-motion quilting. In this class you will learn nine filler designs, four ruler techniques, six border and sashing ideas, basics and variations of free-motion feathers. Once you learn these basic shapes and techniques, you will be able to build from there to more complicated designs. Additionally, Darcy will give you ideas and tips to help you become a better longarm quilter. Lecture/demo and practice. Use Maggie's machines during this class to perfect your techniques!

Join us on the Second Saturday of the month for the Round Tuitt club! This is a great way to join a community, make friends and finish up or start a new project. We will begin a new series of meetings starting on December 14th, 2019 through October 10. 2020. Register for this club and join us for this sewing and breakfast club. We have raffles every month and during the final club meeting one of the raffle items that Maggie donated was a sewing machine! The more projects you finish- the better chance you have of winning a prize--plus the priceless prize of finishing up some projects so you can buy more fabric and start a new one. A worthy goal (-;
