Let's Twist Again!

This is quickly becoming our new addiction!  Using precut fabric squares, lay out your design, piece the squares together and use the twister tool, which comes in several sizes, cut around the twister shape, then sew the newly cut squares together to make a pinwheel shape.  We have quilt patterns for the holidays, a very cute zippered bag pattern and a tray pattern, which when assembled using a moldable, stiff interfacing, becomes an ideal accessory for home decor or for serving food at your next get together.

The pinwheel design shows up best when you choose fabrics with a lot of color contrast.  It's amazing to see how the pinwheel shape magically evolves through the cutting and stitching process.  The acrylic twister tool is made with raised feet for easy placement on your fabric and prevents slippage while you are cutting.  It comes in 6 different sizes and uses fabric squares ranging from 2 1/2" to 10".

You can pick any of the twister projects to sew in the class.  These little cuties will make anyone twist and shout with joy!  Sew fun!!!!
