Easy Does It Zippered Bag - Longmont
This class will be at the Longmont location.
Zippers will no longer be scary! In this class, you'll learn how to construct a bag with rounded corners, insert a zipper, prepare and apply bias binding, work with foam stabilizer, make handles and sew much more!
Price is for class only. Pattern purchase is required ($1.99). Maggie's offers a 15% discount for all class materials.
Here's what you'll need to bring to class:
- Sewing machine in good working order with a 1/4'' foot and a zipper foot. An edge-stitching foot will also come in handy if you have one.
- Rotary Cutter & Mat
- Scissors and thread snippers
- General sewing supplies including an awl if you have one
- 3 Fat Quarters (one each for the outside, lining and coordinating fabric)
- In-R-Foam or Soft and Stable: 18" x 21"
- 24" or longer single-slide handbag zipper
- Thread to match
- Lunch!

She has designed and constructed garments, bags, accessories, quilts, and fabric as well as home dec items. She's a terrific teacher with a wicked sense of humor. |
