Folded Star Hot Pad - Longmont
This class will teach you how to make a folded star hot pad entirely different than the old fashioned way. This reinvented method is EASY and FUN -- no measuring or drawing.
The pattern includes instructions and one interfacing template. You will need one template per hot pad as the triangles are not pieced together, but laid over-lapping each other and the interfacing forms a basis for the hot pad, as well as being a ruler to position the triangles on.
The star is built with 4 layers of folded triangles plus batting, making it thick enough to protect a surface from a hot plate.

- Sewing machine in good working order with foot control, power cord, presser feet, walking foot.
- General sewing supplies (scissors, thread snips, rotary cutter, mat, ruler, fabric marker, water-soluble glue stick, stiletto, Best Press, pins or Wonder Clips)
