Sassy Cat Applique Mini Wall Quilt
Join us at the Longmont location to make this adorable "Sassy Cat" mini quilt. The finished piece measures 6"x19". Lou will guide you through the techniques and tips of machine applique.
Materials needed for the quilt:
1/8 yd light background fabric
1/8 yd tan print for borders
1/8 yd dark fabric for binding
Scraps of fabric:
6"x7" black
2"2' pink (collar)
4"x12" blue (main body)
3"x 12" purple (front legs)
5"x6" green (hind legs)
Additional fabrics and supplies:
8"x22" piece of thin batting
1/3 yd 805 fusible webbing
Applique pressing sheet (required)
Sewing machine in good working condition
Open toe foot for your machine (required)
General sewing supplies
Preparation for class:
Please make the background and borders before class as we will concentrate on the applique process.
