Crazy Curves Quilt
Do you shy away from curves because you think they might be too difficult or time consuming? If you like the look of curved quilts come and join us to learn an easy technique using 7" acrylic curved templates. This beautiful project will stitch up in no time. Batiks are recommended for this quilt but any quilting cottons will work. This class will be held at our Longmont location. The curved templates are available at Maggie's as well as fat quarter bundles or individual fat quarters. A book titled "Crazy Curves Continues" by Elisa Wilson is also available and will give you so many ideas and over 20 quilt patterns using both the 7" and 3 1/2" templates. All supplies for this class purchased at Maggie's will include a 15% class discount.
SUPPLY LIST:
- Sewing machine in good working order with a quarter inch foot, power cord, bobbins, general sewing supplies
- Crazy Curves 7" template, which includes the pattern
- Invisigrip, if you have it. This helps with the slippage of the templates but is not required.
- Rotary cutter with NEW blade
FABRIC:
- 20-24 fat quarters. Batiks are recommended but not required
This is a great project for learning to do curves and they are easier than you'd think!!
There is no pre-class cutting needed. All work will be done in the classroom
