Mystery Quilt with Lou! (Longmont)
Are you ready for a fun adventure? If you haven't done a mystery quilt before, you're in for a treat! In a mystery quilt class, you won't know what the quilt looks like until the blocks are sewn together because there is no pattern for you to see. This is our 2nd Mystery Quilt this year! The fabric requirements and cutting instructions are listed below. Bring all of your precut fabric to this one day class, held at our Longmont location. Lou will show you the construction steps during class. It is a perfect project for a confident beginner and higher level of sewist. It is very important to complete all cutting before class!

Please bring the following with you to class:
- A sewing machine in good working order and the manual if you have it
- Bobbins and sewing machine needles
- 50 weight cotton thread
- 6"x 24" and 12" square ruler
- Rotary cutter, scissors, pins and other general sewing supplies
- Background.................3 yards
- Focus or Main Print......2 yards
- Inner Border...............2/3 yard
- Outer Border...............1 1/4 yards
- Binding......................3/4 yard
- Backing......................4 1/4 yards
- Batting.......................76"x 90"
Background:
- Cut 20 strips 2" wide
- Cut 10 strips 5" wide and subcut into 80- 5" squares
Focus or Main Print
- Cut 25 strips 2" wide
No other cutting needed prior to class!
